To hear stars Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) and Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres) talk of Grey's Anatomy's Season 10 premiere — airing Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC — we're in for a doozy of an episode… with a whole new natural disaster.
"We're picking right up where we left off," Chandra tells Huffington Post in an interview you can watch below.
"Not even an hour, apparently, [from] where we left off," adds Sara. "So yeah, things are still hectic. Everyone is just trying to run this hospital."
"Our disaster part still isn't over … you know, 'cause we have nothing else to do!" Chandra quips, causing Sara to bust out laughing.
All joking aside, the ladies get back to the emergency at hand: "There's a mudslide," Chandra reveals.
Adds Sara: "The mudslide that also takes firefighters down with it"
"So we'll have some trauma-related things going on, too," says Chandra.
So... a wall of fast-moving mud. Great. Add it to the tally of the terrors that have plagued Seattle on the show.
The only good news is that the noble — if life-threatening — electrical work Richard (James Pickens Jr.) did in the season finale brightened the situation.
"But the lights are on," Chandra says. "The lights did come back on."
Sounds like a scary ride, nonetheless. The only combination of Bailey's and mudslides we like are of the alcoholic variety — are we right?!
