The Face Season 2’s New Model Coaches: Anne V and Lydia Hearst
UPDATE: The new coaches are here! According to Oxygen, Lydia Hearst and Anne V will be joining Naomi Campbell for The Face Season 2.
Russian model Anne — full name Anne Vyalitsyna — was in a serious relationship with The Voice coach (and Maroon 5 singer) Adam Levine before dating Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and Mets pitcher Matt Harvey.
Model/socialite Lydia — daughter of kidnapping victim Patty Hearst and great-granddaughter of publisher William Randolph Hearst — played an interior decorator on Gossip Girl Season 1, and dated actors Justin Bartha and Jeff Goldblum.
And both ladies have done plenty of modeling in Vogue, Elle, etc., but that's understood. Excited about the new coaches?
Are you, by any chance, a supermodel with great mentoring skills and even greater tolerance for diva behavior? Then move your sexy butt over to the Big Apple, 'cause The Face may want you!
Season 1 of Naomi Campbell's Oxygen reality competition show had more drama-behind-the-scenes than on camera — including model contestant Luo Zilin later dating Naomi's Russian billionaire ex-boyfriend. Now the show is down two of its three supermodel judges/coaches (with the third being Naomi herself).
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Karolina Kurkova will not join Season 2 due to work commitments. Coco Rocha is also leaving; Page Six says Coco's polite, hard-working personality clashed with Naomi's diva nature. "Coco clearly knows Naomi doesn't like her," a source told the site a while back. Coco reportedly decided not to subject herself to more abuse, so she's out too.
It's not clear who will be replacing the two judges/coaches, but Season 2 supposedly starts filming in NYC next month.
Are you curious to see what The Face does for Season 2, or are you out like Karolina and Coco?
