Since GoT is based on the book series A Song of Ice and Fire (ASOIAF), we can make some good guesses about how the story will play out this season, at least in broad strokes. Here are our predictions about what's coming up for Dany's latest suitor.

The sacking of Mereen. The next city on Dany’s tour of slave cities is Mereen, and Daario is of course right by her side. While he’s not quite so involved in the plan to take the city as he was in Yunkai, he should offer Dany some moral support, at least, and its possible the show will beef up his planning role. In the books, Jorah Mormont and Barristan Selmy lead a small group of soldiers in through the sewers of Yunkai to open the city gates. The show could send Daario along with them, or they could come up with an entirely different strategy. It's very possible he's the "champion" she selects in Episode 3.
Whatever happens, we’re sure that Daario will be there in some way, though, as Dany takes Mereen and declares herself queen.
Daario the diplomat. While he’s known mainly as a great warrior, Daario’s not so bad at negotiating either. He heads to the neighboring land of Lhazar and is able to open up a trade route with the peaceful people there, and Dany is pretty psyched when he returns with the good news. If she wasn’t falling for him before, she totally is now.
Daario and Dany get it on. Cue the Marvin Gaye. While Daario and Dany don’t take their relationship to the next level until early in the fifth book in ASOIAF, we wouldn’t be too shocked to see the show move things ahead of schedule to fit more skin time into the show (not that we’re complaining). Either way, Dany is finally able to move on from Khal Drogo, and she and Daario begin a very steamy affair. Basically no one in Dany’s camp approves of her shacking up with Daario, but she’s a queen, so she’s gonna do what she wants. Their relationship is a typical star-crossed lover tale, with Dany knowing it can’t last because of their different positions in society (she’s a queen, he’s a sellsword) and Daario thinking that’s baloney. Enjoy while it lasts because, well, it’s not going to last for long.
