Daphne Oz, Daughter of Dr. Oz, is Pregnant With First Child
Ready to meet The Wonderful Granddaughter of Oz?
Daphne Oz, daughter of TV doctor and Oprah favorite Mehmet Oz (aka Dr. Oz), is pregnant.
The 27-year-old is making a television career of her own as co-host of ABC lifestyle/cooking show The Chew — and she announced the happy news during a taping of the the show today, Thursday, September 5. (The episode will air on Monday, September 9.)
And Daphne has a flair for showmanship (just like Dad!). She told the audience of a trip to Europe she took with her husband of three years, John Jovanovic, before saying that she wanted to show the audience a few pictures.
The photos, however, were not snapshots from the vacay but a set of three sonogram images — much to the surprise and delight of her co-hosts, Carla Hall, Mario Batali, Clinton Kelly, and Michael Symon.
It's the first child for Daphne and Chris and Mehmet's first grandchild. Whether the baby-to-be will one day pursue a TV job, however, is not yet known.
