Real Housewives of New Jersey

Teresa and Joe Giudice’s Federal Fraud Case Moved to February 2014

It seems Teresa and Joe Giudice will have a few more months of family time before heading to court for their 39 counts of federal fraud. The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple’s trial date has been moved from October 8, 2013 to February 24, 2014, according to North Jersey.

The site says U.S. District Judge Esther Salas moved the case back to give both sides plenty of time to review financial records and documentation to properly prepare for trial.

Tre and Juicy Joe could be facing up to 50 years in prison if found guilty in court, so we’re glad their lawyers will have some extra time to cover all of their bases.

The judge also wanted to allow Joe’s representation plenty of time to work on his other case dealing with state charges from a suspended driver’s license. That case is set to go to court on October 28.
