Teen Beat Tuesday: Brad Pitt

Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, 16, Bop: these tween rags introduced us to all our first crushes. Every Tuesday, we remember the dudes that decorated our photo binders. This week: hunkiest of hunks, Brad Pitt.

Name: Brad Pitt

We Called Him: "Brad," because there weren't a whole lot of other notable Brads besides Renfro.

How Old Is He Now? 49! (Born December 18, 1963)

Claims to Fame: Soap actor turned Hollywood icon turned humanitarian super-dad.

Why We Loved Him: Let's talk about Brad Pitt for a second. Sure, he's still cute. But back in the day, he was the ultimate heartthrob of his time, before the causes, the beards, the Angelina. Even before the Jennifer Aniston!

Okay, there was some beard.

But he was our vampire crush while Robert Pattinson was still memorizing his multiplication tables.

We can thank Thelma & Louise for making him such delicious cougar prey in 1992, because the rest was sexy history.

Eventually, we grew to love him as a badass with a heart of gold. Okay, sometimes there was a little more "badass" than "heart," but we loved him just the same.

What He's Up To Now: Oh you know, chillin' with Angelina Jolie and their six freakin' kids!

Seriously, though, he's still working, and he's still dreamy. He just starred in zombie action film World War Z, and he has some serious business coming down the pipeline. He stars in the Ridley Scott/Cormac McCarthy project The Counselor, which hits theaters next month, and another project with Tree of Life director Terrence Malick is in post-production.

He seems like a total sweetheart, too. When Angelina got her preventative double mastectomy, he called the decision "heroic," adding, "All I want for is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children." Is someone cutting onions in here? Because we're crying just a little.
