Juan Pablo Galavis’ Dramatic Hair Transformation — Frosted Tips?!

It’s primping time! Juan Pablo Galavis is making himself extra pretty for The Bachelor Season 18, which likely starts filming next week. According to Reality Steve, JPG’s ladies will start arriving in Los Angeles this Saturday, September 14.

We know JP has been working to bulk up his buttcheeks for our viewing pleasure, but he’s also experimenting with different hairstyles. Which, you know, we’re not quite as excited about.

Juan Pablo shared two shots at the hair salon on September 10 — one with slicked-back hair asking (in his inimitable half-CAPS style) “So WHAT do you THINK?” and the other with a spiky “END result.” Even JP acknowledged that his slick hair looked like fellow Bachelorette 9 suitor Drew Kenney, while the smiley spiked look is fifty shades of Zak Waddell.

Commenting fans seem mixed on the hairstyles. At least one Bachelor Nation resident is not fan of the end result. Jaclyn Swartz of Ben Flajnik’s love journey and Bachelor Pad Season 3 tweeted, “Why did Juan Pabs get frosted tips for his stint as the #bachelor?” Fair question. So very fair, Jax.

He should be careful not to mess with the formula. Hotness is not the #1 quality a woman should look for in a potential husband, but it’s pretty much the #1 quality we look for in the guy we’ll be needing to keep us warm in the middle of winter. JPG is still mucho adorable, but all he really has to do is give us the same guy we saw (briefly) on Desiree Hartsock’s season and we’re golden. Don’t overTHINK it!
