It may have been about as far from shoe-throwing as you can get, but Austin Powers star Joe Son is getting taken to task for his off-screen bad guy behavior.
TMZ reports that Joe, a former MMA fighter who starred as hitman Random Task in the Mike Myers hit, has been charged with murder in the death of his cellmate, Thomas Graham, at California State Prison, Corcoran.
Joe allegedly kicked and punched Thomas over and over, brutally killing his fellow inmate, who was incarcerated for two years for failing to register as a sex offender after allegedly committing lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14.
Due to the extremely brutal nature of the crime, layers for the prosecution are still deciding whether or not to seek the death penalty for Joe, who was already incarcerated prior to his arrest for Thomas’ murder.
Joe was initially jailed for his involvement in a 1990 gang rape, for which he was serving fifteen years to life in prison.
