Dancing With the Stars 2013: Christina Milian and Elizabeth Berkley Lost Weight Rehearsing!
Dancing With the Stars is one of the most grueling reality competition shows out there, so it’s no surprise when contestants (and pros) talk about either losing weight, bulking up, or feeling healthier after they get into the thick of training. Season 17 is no exception, with not one, but two stars revealing they lost weight before the show even premiered!
During a chat with E! Online, Elizabeth Berkley (known for Saved by the Bell and Showgirls) credited DWTS for helping her shed her baby weight, saying, “For all new moms out there, dancing is the key.” In the video, the 41-year-old mom is visibly slim, even though she welcomed son Sky Cole Lauren only two months ago in July 2013. Partner Val Chmerkovskiy must be working her ‘round the clock!
Christina Milian, who was most recently seen as The Voice’s social media correspondent, didn’t recently have a baby — her daughter, Violet, is 4 years old — but she still is happy to trim down. "I've lost a few pounds already,” she told E!. “We've had some intense training. We do at least four hours a day and I've got my aches and pains in places I'd never felt before." She also noted that she’s prepping for the “skimpy little outfits” she’ll wear on the show alongside partner Mark Ballas.
