Scott Eastwood is the 27-year-old son of Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood and his former flame, ex-flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. Scott’s showing the world he’s all grown up in a recent modeling spread in the October issue of Town and Country Magazine.
Even though he’s had small roles in his dad’s flicks such as Gran Torino,Flags of Our Fathers, and Trouble With The Curve, the Monterey native shares that he made it by “grinding it out” the old-fashioned way by working a series of low-paying jobs like construction and bartending until his big break came.It looks like all that hard work paid off! He’ll appear alongside Shia LaBeouf and Brad Pitt in the upcoming World War II drama, Fury, which is currently in production.
What did Scott’s Oscar-winning old man teach his son about the craft? According to his progeny, it’s about being a lot more than a hunky face. “My dad's motto is 'Tell the truth.' The only way of doing that is having life experiences and being a storyteller.”
Scott told Town and Country that although he’s happy about being more of a star, he’s not content to just stop there. He’s clearly happy to try filling his macho dad’s large shoes. “I want to be a man's man – not a kid actor or a glitzy pop star but a no bulls**t leading man."
You’ve certainly got our vote, Scott! And please, feel free to tread all over our lawn.
