The 34-year-old rock momma has created her famous image in the name of talking back, saying what you feel, and having pride in one’s ferocity. To her, Willow’s sassiness is just part of her natural evolution as she follows in her mom’s rebellious footsteps.
“She’s fierce,” Pink said recently at the L.A. premiere of Thanks for Sharing, in which she makes her movie-acting debut, according to People. “We need our girls to be fiery.”
The “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” singer has absolutely no interest in referring to her daughter as terrible, as she explains, “I think she’s tender. She has opinions. And my challenge right now is, ‘Don’t laugh,’ because she gets pissed when I laugh. She means it, and I’m laughing. I’m, like, downplaying her emotions. She’s so cute! ‘Don’t look at me, mama! Don’t talk to me, mama!’ Okay!”
Pink sounds like one totally down-to-earth mom, and we love her for that! It’s always nice to hear a parent loving on their kids through even the most emotional times in their lives. Hey, they’re people, too, and it’s just part of their growing up experience when they begin to have opinions and question the world, and it doesn’t last forever.
