Farrah Abraham on Stardom: “I’ve Never Really Been About Fame or Attention”
Everyone be quiet, Farrah Abraham is speaking. This Teen Mom-turned-accidental porn star is known for her provocative musings about life, love, and feminism (not to be confused with lesbianism, an error Farrah's been known to make), and she recently chatted with VLAD TV about fame.
The general theme? Farrah totally doesn't want to be famous. Despite the fact that she spends all her time being photographed by paparazzi, making club appearances, and working on her new television show. Oh, and the fact that she sold her sex tape for over $1 million.
"I've never really been about fame or attention from the television and the people who see me on it," Farrah revealed. "Now in our lives we are very choosey about reality television and what we do. I think if there's no real educational impact or showing advocacy for something, then, you know, I don't really think it's a good thing to be a part of."
"I am filming for a show," Farrah said. "I want to give something more than just family time, or whatever. I want to give something educational, cultural, so people can really see what my life is about and what I want to change about it and how great of a person I really try to be."
Fingers crossed that Farrah teaches us how to make pasta sauce and explains the mystery that is Passy Perfume. Because, honestly? We have so many questions.
