Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Spoilers: Arizona Is Constantly Ashamed, Teases Jessica Capshaw

When Grey's Anatomy resumes — with Season 10 premiering tomorrow night, September 26 — Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will be bearing a scarlet letter.

Not literally, like poor Hester Prynne in Nathaniel Hawthorne's classic, but she might as well be! From what Jessica tells TVLine, Arizona is feeling some intense scorn after Callie (Sara Ramirez) publicly shames her in front of the other doctors.

(In case you missed that preview for the premiere, Cristina [Sandra Oh] says she doesn't know who Dr. Boswell is, and Callie seethes, "She's the woman Arizona slept with last night.")

"Every time I would walk into a scene, it would be having to play someone who had just done something horrible," she tells the site, laughing. "So I would come out of work and be like, 'I really am a good person! I really am!'"

We're sure Jessica's hubby of eight years, Christopher Gavigan, wouldn't beg to differ!

But as for her on-screen spouse, Jessica says that Callie will have to understand the reasons behind Arizona's adultery: "This is no small thing. This is a huge betrayal… And the next step is you have to understand why it happened."

We have a hunch that's easier said than done.

Do you think Callie and Arizona can salvage their marriage? Or has Arizona punched a Hilarie Burton-sized hole in all chances of reconciliation? Sound off below.
