Did Jay-Z Go to College?

"Education is super important," Jay-Z said while promoting a benefit concert for his own Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. "I don't have a high school diploma or a college diploma, but still for me to articulate, I had to have some form of schooling to articulate my thoughts."

It turns out that even though Jay-Z is a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks, not having a college degree may actually get in the way of one of his dreams because of a pesky requirement from the National Football League Players Association — they enacted a rule requiring a college degree to recruit players, which some speculate was targeted at Jay-Z himself.

But who knows? Maybe Jay-Z will take his buttloads of money and get a degree in something he's passionate about — like Art History.

Who Did Rihanna Go to Prom With?

Rihanna went to prom with normal dude named Richard as part of MTV's Once Upon a Prom series, but it was special for her, too — she told the lucky guy in the limo that it was her first prom, too. See the video below!

What Is Mariah Carey's Highest Note?

Mariah Carey's five-octave range goes, according to videos posted on NME and Perez Hilton, at least up to G#7. This is really, really impressive. For perspective, Mariah's just a few notes shy of the very highest note on an 88-key piano.

The Guinness Record for highest note belongs to tenor Adam Lopez, who hit a C#8. It isn't too far off Mariah's personal best — just five half-steps.
