We don’t know a lot about Ravenswood — Rosewood’s creepy sidekick town — yet. The characters have names and outlines of back stories, but we’re eagerly anticipating getting to know them even a fraction as well as our favorite Pretty Little Liars pals. So, while scrolling through the Halloween episode spoiler photos for the PLL two-hour event, which will introduce the Ravenswood kids, we came across something pretty interesting. Namely, it looks like Ezra and Luke have something in common.
In two pictures, Ravenswood loner Luke and Rosewood High’s favorite teacher with a secret, Ezra, are wearing matching outfits. While Luke is clearly in attendance at the Ravenswood Founders Day Party at the graveyard, we’re not sure what Ezra is doing. Recently revealed as “A,” with a lair just around the riverbend from where the celebration is happening, we’re curious whether Ezra somehow engineered the twinsie get-ups.
It appears as though Luke and Ezra are both wearing early 1900s military garb, complete with helmets, bloomer-topped flannel pants, and some sort of connector hose attached to a mysterious bag (in Ezra’s case). In fact, it looks like a gas mask — a way to breathe in difficult situations (like, if you’re underground perhaps?). So, naturally, we have to ask: Are Ezra and Luke working together?
We don’t know how much involvement Ezra will have on the new spin-off series, but we do know that his lair is in Ravenswood, so he certainly would have had a chance to interact with the people who live in the town — including Luke. Perhaps Luke, who has been described as a “loner type” was recruited somehow by Ezra and is part of the “A” Team.
In the photo of Luke, someone seems to be talking to him, and he looks shocked and put upon, his arms crossed. Meanwhile, Ezra looks annoyed and is clutching a phone in one hand, holding his other tightly in anticipation of something. But with his hat off, he looks almost casual about the situation, as if he’s in control.
Will they try to pass for one another at the party? Is Ezra using Luke? Can you think of another explanation for why they look like they stepped out of the same costume shop? Tell us what you think in the comments!
