Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga Compares Herself To Miley Cyrus!

No one lives by the motto “No press is bad press” more than Melissa Gorga, and now the Real Housewives of New Jersey beauty is claiming that she and Miley Cyrus are sisters from other misters.

Melissa’s new book, Love Italian Style, has come under fire based on opinions that it’s claims that say every woman “wants to be taken” and “get her hair pulled” and if she says “no” to “turn her around, and rip her clothes off,” seem to promote marital rape.

In an interview with VH1s The Buzz, the controversial housewife made the Miley comparison, saying, “She wanted controversy, her plan worked!” Uh, congrats?

Melissa addressed the claims of marital rape promotion, saying, “The 'controversial' stuff, the pull her hair — it's about trying new things in the bedroom, it's keep it spicy, keep it aggressive! It's not about take it when she doesn't want it.”

If you watch the video, you’ll just love the air quotes she uses around “the controversial stuff!” Thou doth protest too much, Melissa.

Interestingly enough, Mrs. Joe Gorga says she wouldn’t change a thing about the book. At first, VH1 host Carrie Keagan was shocked by this admission, but then she said, “It’s giving you book sales, right?” going on to joke that it’s her own version of 50 Shades of Gorga (which surely includes a gaudy red room of pain).

As for whether Melissa and Teresa Giudice have truly buried the hatchet, Melissa made sure to note that she was wearing the “peace panties” Teresa gave her for her birthday. "It was a little strange," Melissa said with a laugh. "But it was a nice gesture."

What do you think do you admire Melissa for going after what she wants, or do you think she’s just in it for the fame?
