Recently on The Vampire Diaries, we've been buried under a mountain of mythology, given Tessa and Silas's very complicated history. And it looks like in Season 5, Episode 6 (“Handle With Care") the war brewing between the two immortal exes is heating up — and our Mystic Falls vamps are stuck in the middle of it all!
Last week, in Episode 5 (“Monster’s Ball”), Damon makes a deal with the evil warlock, and it seems like Silas is ready to do business in Episode 6 when he promises to accomplish something big for Damon and Elena (most likely, to bring Bonnie back from the dead) in exchange for their help — to kill Stefan. Yeah, that deal isn't going to go over well with Delena, no matter how hard Silas tries to thwart Qetsiyah's plan.
From the sound of things, we’re going to see Katherine struggle with her human mortality (another day, another sinus infection) — and she might even be moving out of the Salvatore mansion and heading to Whitmore College — which means we’ll see Caroline bond with her bestie’s doppelganger and the vampire who viciously turned her in Season 1.
Meanwhile, Bonnie and Jeremy are tighter than ever in the upcoming episode while Damon realizes that Tessa’s plan is full of surprising secrets!
Check out the official synopsis below:
"Silas (Paul Wesley) happily announces his new goal to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev), but they are skeptical when he promises to accomplish one important task in return for their help. Tessa (guest star Janina Gavankar) confidently tells Stefan (Paul Wesley) about her next move, then realizes that Silas has managed to outsmart her. A desperate Katherine (Nina Dobrev) discovers a new and unexpected consequence of becoming human again, and realizes she needs a new place to stay. In exchange for a spot in the dorm room, she offers to show Caroline (Candice Accola) how to get answers from Dr. Maxfield (guest star Rick Cosnett). Bonnie (Kat Graham) is touched by Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) strength and determination to stand by her. Finally, Damon is stunned when he figures out the secret to Tessa’s plan."
