"We definitely gotta spread it out,” Brant told ETonline at the Pretty Little Liars and Ravenswood premiere party. “I don't want this to be my thing on the show. I don't want to be the guy who takes his clothes off all the time.” There are worse things to be known for, but he’s probably right. Keep it classy...ish.
Last night on Week 6 (October 21), Corbin Bleu went for another chest-flashing routine while Brant stayed clothed. Brant noted that he and Corbin didn’t know they’d be debuting shirtless dances together on Week 4 until they eyed each other in rehearsals. Brant admitted going shirtless does add a bit of pressure to make sure your body looks good. "It's a lot of push-ups right before you go out on stage."
Shirtlessness aside, he said the most difficult dance for him so far was that Salsa. "I come from Ohio; it's a little cornfield town. Nobody does the Salsa out there. We don't wiggle our hips like that!"
A while back he was dealing with both a shocking robbery and a foot injury, but he said his foot is fine now and last night, he and Peta Murgatroyd Tango-ed to their first 10 of the season — from Grumpy Old Len Goodman, of all people.
So does he think he’s in a position to win this thing? "Anything can happen. There's a new leader every week on the show,” he answered. “I think I have a shot, [let’s] put it that way."
