Honestly, we're not 100% sure how long Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was in a coma. From the time frames given in The Walking Dead comics, we know it was at least a month — right after waking up from his coma, Rick is told that "all media shut down after a few weeks" of zombie apocalypse, and when Rick and Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies) reunited for the first time, it was "the best news [Donna] heard all month." We're guessing that the comic book writers meant to imply that the coma was a little longer than that, although the Walkers did spread quickly.

Is Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead game?

Nope! Rick Grimes is not in the Telltale-made game series based on the comics, because, in an appropriate follow-up to the last question, he was still in a coma. Only three characters present in the TV series make an appearance in the game: Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson), Shawn Greene (who's a Walker by the time the comics and TV series take place), and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun).
