On October 22, Team Christina Aguilera indie soul singer Stephanie Anne Johnson and country crooner Olivia Henken belted out a duet to “Done” by The Band Perry. At rehearsals Olivia immediately felt the upper hand as it was a country song she was familiar with, however, Stephanie felt confident that she could take the song and make it her own.

Mentor Ed Sheeran noted that while Olivia may be familiar with the song, Stephanie definitely has a command of attitude. Christina advised both women to put a bit more power into the song as its more about personality than technicality.

When both ladies took the stage, they threw their timidness to the side and dueled to the finish, receiving a standing ovation from their coach.

Cee Lo complimented Stephanie for making the record her own, and gave the battle to her. Coach Adam Levine thought that both ladies had a great approach, but also gave the battle to Stephanie. Blake Shelton, on the other hand, declared Olivia the winner due to her knowledge of the song.

When it was time for Christina to make a choice, she went with “her gut” and chose Olivia. However, with one last steal under his belt, Cee Lo knabbed Stephanie for his team.

Do you think Olivia Henken deserved to win the battle rounds? Tell us below!
