In the short clip, we see Olivia Pope sitting down with Democratic Congresswoman Josie Marcus (Lisa Kudrow), who is hoping to beat out President Grant for office come next term. But, as Liv warns, “You don’t get to do that without making your personal life fair game.
As we found out in Episode 4, Josie had a baby at 15 and told no one, not even signing a birth certificate. Now that she’s the “President’s greatest rival,” it’s going to be Fitz against Liv… again.
“Don’t test me,” Olivia warns, and we later hear Fitz say, “It’s personal.” Could she be using his weak points to help Josie attack him during some sort of debate? Will it escalate to that?
