In The Walking Dead comics, once Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) are settled into prison life, they decide to give each other haircuts. Maggie cuts her hair short and Glenn gets a total head shave.
Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun were recently on Larry King Now, and Larry read off a fan’s question about whether Glenn and Maggie would cut their hair on Season 4 of the show.
Lauren answered, “We've moved past the point when they actually do that in the comics, but…” Steven jumped in, “You never know. ... I just — I always put it out there, I have a very ugly shaped head underneath. You could probably tell.” No, no, no. Stop it, Steven — you’re just as pretty as Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) and Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes).
Steven said he would shave his head if the show asked him to, he’s just warning the public it might not be his best look. Lauren doesn’t seem to have the same insecurities. When asked if she’d shave her head, she answered, "Definitely. I shouldn’t really say that. I'll lose all my shampoo campaigns," she joked. Larry couldn't believe she'd actually do it. "Yeah, it would be so fun," she added. "I'd love to."
Larry said he wouldn't do it, but he doesn’t have much hair to begin with. Good for Lauren, though. She’d probably be just as gorgeous with a shaved head — it would bring out her eyes even more.
Considering this was a video interview and you could see both Steven and Lauren with full heads of hair, it’s pretty safe to say they won’t be chopping their locks anytime soon. Are you glad they’re keeping their hair, or would you be curious to see Glenn and Maggie with a different look? Sound off below!
The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
