Having left The Hills and never looked back, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has bought himself a little slice of heaven near his family — and far from the prying eyes of Los Angeles paparazzi.
Brody just purchased a three bedroom, three bath home on four acres of land in Malibu, near the home of his brother, Brandon, and sister-in-law, Leah, for a cool $1.9 million.
Despite the hefty price tag, Brody’s new bachelor pad, which is close to dad Bruce Jenner’s $14,500 a month beachfront rental, is a far more modest home than those his stepsisters, the Kardashians, are used to, measuring in at just 1,517 square feet.
While Brody’s new digs are nothing to scoff at — in fact, the house has both an abundance of stylish design features and beautiful views — his reasonably-sized home and conservative taste exemplify the difference between the Kardashian and Jenner households: During their recent separation, Kris is living at the Calabasas mansion, while Bruce sticks to the beach.
Although Brody’s new house is slightly outside his old stomping grounds, it doesn’t mean he’s given up city living for good.
There’s been no word yet on whether or not he's gotten rid of his former spot in West Hollywood’s Sierra Towers, the high-priced high-rise love shack he somehow managed to woo the entire cast of The Hills, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, some Playmates, and Avril Lavigne in.
