Vampire Diaries Alum Matt Davis Gets Into a “Turf War” on CSI
Matt Davis may have entertained us in Legally Blonde as Warner Huntington III, but since then he’s proven to be a bit more dangerous on The Vampire Diaries as the lovable Alaric Saltzman. But it’s on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation that Matt is really going to show off his bad boy side.
The 35-year-old actor will make his debut on the long-running CBS procedural this Wednesday, October 30, playing Sean Yeager, a day shift CSI agent. It sounds like Matt’s going to get to put his signature snark to work, starting off on the wrong foot with Morgan Brody (played by Elisabeth Harnois).
In fact, here’s a bit of their conversation from their first encounter, via TVLine:
Sean Yeager: Excuse me. Morgan Brody: Who are you? Sean: Do you know what time it is? Morgan: I’m sorry? Sean: It’s 8 o’clock. AM. As in the graveyard shift ended two hours ago, you realize that, right? This body is mine. Morgan: I’m not going to get into a turf war with you right now. Sean: Because you’ll lose.
While we’re happy that Matt has moved on from the short-lived CW show Cult, we hate to see him leave Alaric behind. We’ll miss those days of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) killing and then hanging out with the high school teacher — they had such a brotastic relationship!
