Glee Season 5: Will Kurt and Blaine Actually Get Married?
We’re still pretty much on cloud nine after Blaine’s (Darren Criss) completely perfect marriage proposal to Kurt (Chris Colfer) in the Glee Season 5 premiere. Granted, we were a little worried that Kurt might not accept, but of course he did. No one can say no to Blaine. So the big question remains: Will these two actually get married?
Blaine and Kurt started out as the perfect couple... until Blaine cheated, and they pretty much spent all of Season 4 apart. Then, the two got back together this season and quickly got engaged. Typically, such an impulsive engagement might not be a great sign for future stability. Plus, did we mention the fact that they’re both still teenagers?
So what are the odds of the couple actually making things official? Well, Glee’s track record on going through with marriages is iffy. Finn and Rachel got engaged in Season 3 but called the wedding off, while Emma and Schue were off and on before finally exchanging vows last season. Oh, and Sue got married to herself, but we’re not sure if that’s a good thing or not.
Since Rachel and Finn never got married, we’re inclined to think that the show wouldn’t mislead viewers again like that, meaning that Klaine has a decent shot at tying the knot. Plus, Ryan Murphy has thrown out a couple of hints on Twitter in past months that a Klaine wedding is indeed coming and that Kurt would be 21 when he got hitched. Sounds promising to us!
But do you think they’ll get married? And do you even want them to? Let us know in the comments! In the meantime, we just hope they invite us to the cake tasting.
