All six ladies — NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Stewart — faced their fair share of drama, but the majority of the episode focused on Porsha and her painful divorce from now ex-husband, Kordell Stewart. Poor thing couldn't hold back tears as she recounted the deposition where Kordell not only refused to try counseling, but also failed to give a legitimate reason for ending things so suddenly. Although Porsha claims she's ready to embrace her new life as a single lady, it's obvious she's still struggling to move on.
As for the other ladies, we're most looking forward to the catfights between our girl NeNe Leakes and "Gone With the Wind Fabulous" Kenya Moore. The claws really came out toward the end of the episode when the ladies discussed NeNe's wedding. As you may recall from NeNe's spin-off, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, Kenya was a no-show for the lavish event — later telling Mrs. Leakes she couldn't make it because she was in Africa at the time. But there may be more to the story (isn't there always?), considering all the shade Kenya threw at NeNe for inviting her ex, Walter Jackson. Sounds like someone's still a little hung up!
In typical NeNe fashion, she refused to back down. "'Gone With the Wind Fabulous' is gone — and so is Walter," she said while making her dramatic exit. NeNe – 1, Kenya – 0.
We didn't see much from ATL's resident songbird Kandi Burruss, but the episode set the stage for plenty of drama surrounding her pending nuptials to TV producer Todd Tucker.
As for the winning quote of the night, we've gotta give that to RHoA's self-proclaimed Southern belle, Phaedra Parks, who called Kenya a "beauty queen on bath salts." In a word, brilliant.
