This week featured WWE superstar Chris Jericho and Community star Gillian Jacobs, plus interviews with Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Melissa McBride (Carol Peletier).
Carol Felt Rick Was Testing Her. "We have people who are very ill. We have walkers who are at the fence," explained Melissa on TTD. "And he wants to go on a run. In her mind it's almost like these two are testing each other."
Rick Was Definitely, Genuinely Worried About His Kids When He Kicked Carol to the Curb. "Do I want you around my children? that's why I left her by the roadside," said Andrew on TTD, bringing up that Carol had previously asked Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) to lie to him.
They also dropped a tree on the gas station's roof. Someone got paid to drop a tree on an abandoned building. Great day at work, or best day at work?
The "Hell" Sign at the Gas Station Was Inspired By Real-Life Disaster Scenarios. Eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed the word "hell" spelled out with numbers on the gas station's sign. TTD revealed that producers based this on makeshift signs made by disaster survivors in the real world, as this tattoo parlor did for Superstorm Sandy.
