Kourtney Kardashian may be the most mild-mannered of Kris Jenner's brood with late husband Robert Kardashian, but like her siblings, she’s not afraid to speak her mind.
Case in point: on this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, mom of two Kourtney had some harsh criticism for her own mother following the first taping of Kris’ eponymous talk show.
During the first episode of the show, which aired shortly after Kim Kardashian gave birth to daughter North West, Kris walked on stage holding a baby in a blanket with a similar complexion and hair color to North.
“What is it, is it the baby?” Kourtney asked Khloe, who was seated next to her in the show’s front row. When Kris finally made it to center stage, she revealed that it wasn’t North, but her stylist’s child, which didn’t sit well with Kourtney.
“I literally thought it was North for like a split second,” revealed Kourtney.
While she was nearly duped, Kourtney admitted that she was frustrated by her mom’s attempt to cash in on Kim and Kanye’s baby.
“Since Kanye is very private about North, I feel like it’s not cool,” she said.
While Kourtney remained steadfast in her opinion about the stunt, she conceded that she was being hard on her mom because she wanted the best for her.
“I think because it’s our mom’s first show and we want it to be the best, we’re being very critical of every little detail,” she admitted.
