Lea Michele and Glee Stars React to People’s Choice 2014 Nominations

Glee crushed it for 2014 People’s Choice Award nominations on November 5, landing a grand total of eight noms. Granted, this fan-favorite show has always been a hit at the PCAs, but this year Glee got even more nods than last year.

Lea Michele (Rachel), who is up against Kaley Cuoco, Melissa McCarthy, Zooey Deschanel, and co-star Jane Lynch (Sue) for Favorite TV Comedic Actress, tweeted, “So honored to be nominated for a 2014 People's Choice Award for Favorite Comedic TV Actress! To vote go to #PCA2014.”

Jane wrote, “Thanks, peoples! I'm nominated for a #peopleschoice #comedictvactress So thrilled! vote here: …

Chris Colfer (Kurt), who, like Lea and Jane, is no stranger to PCA noms, tweeted, “Thank you so much for the Peoples Choice Award nominations you guys! Very exciting morning!

Chris is up against Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jim Parsons, and Neil Patrick Harris for Favorite TV Comedic Actor, but unlike last year, his co-star Darren Criss (Blaine) is also in the category. What’s more, Kurt and Blaine are nominated for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry, while Sam and Blaine get a nom for Favorite TV Bromance.

Darren tweeted, “First off THANK YOU to all the @GLEEonFOX fans for the @peopleschoice nominations. #klaine #glee #blam.”

He added, “I'm very proud to be part of the groundbreaking relationship that is #Klaine Thank u to @MrRPMurphy , the #Glee writers, and @chriscolfer.”

You’ll have to excuses us, our little Glee hearts are pretty much bursting with pride.

Make sure to head over to and vote.
