Printing portal veins in 3D, marriage counseling, and Richard refusing to get out of bed until he’s the only one around to help save the life of another patient — these are just a few of the things that happened in tonight’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “Two Against One” So what else did you miss? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Here are the five things you need to know about this week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy:
April and Matthew finally do the deed… almost. After attending several sessions of pre-marital counseling, April and Matthew find out they’re 90% compatible with each other — well, duh. Matthew’s totally the male version of April. But there’s one thing that’s making the waters a little murky between them, and it’s the fact that they’ve yet to have sex. So they almost do… until they decide that waiting will be better. So wait, this wedding is still going down?
Something serious is up with Bailey. Something that makes her act completely un-Bailey-like, and it isn’t just the fact that she’s still a little annoyed Ben gave up his dreams of being a surgeon. And in Ben’s first surgery back in Seattle, Bailey’s head isn’t in it, and we’ve got a feeling something huge is going on with her, especially after seeing her obsessing over smells and checking her fingers over and over again — for potential holes in her gloves? Maybe Bailey’s still stressing over her previous staph scare.
Arizona’s officially moving on. And if taking showers with Leah Murphy doesn’t convince you, watching her finally take her wedding ring off will do it.
Emma and Owen are still going strong. And Emma likes him so much, she turns down a gig at Grey-Sloan Memorial to preserve Owen’s relationships with his friends. We’ve gotta hand it to her — she gets through a waaaay too personal interview with Callie and barely bats an eye. She must really care about Owen, and the best part? She confesses to Callie that she’s excited to have kids in the future. Finally someone Owen can be on the same page with.
Cristina and Meredith’s relationship is more damaged than ever before. Meredith’s super psyched about her new 3D printer she’s using to work on her portal vein project, and everyone gathers around to see her first masterpiece: a fork. Not exactly a working vein, but hey, she’s gotta start somewhere, right? And when Cristina goes to her asking to print a liver for her patient, Meredith shuts her down… which is why she’s pretty shocked when she walks in on Cristina printing a liver anyway.
