Please, Sharon Osbourne, tell us how you really feel.
England’s most genteel export, who has made a career for herself through a combination of throwing hams at neighbors on The Osbournes, screaming and crying on America’s Got Talent, and oversharing on The Talk, has been practicing a new on-air trick, which she’s just recently rolled out for use: swearing at strangers.
On Wednesday night’s episode of The Arsenio Hall Show, Sharon and her co-hosts from The Talk dropped by the set and sized up the daytime TV competition for the veteran late-night host.
When asked to describe the difference between The View and The Talk, host Julie Chen explained, “We do not discuss politics. We do not debate. I always say The View has changed over the years as the players have changed."
While Julie was giving her diplomatic explanation of the nuances between the two programs, Sharon sat silently, rolling her eyes so hard as if to try to make them escape her skull entirely.
When Julie had finished, Sharon interjected, “Cut to the chase. Stop being polite.”
The former reality star gave her own assessment of the rival program, telling Arsenio, “Barbara — idolize her. Divine. She's superhuman. I love Barbara Walters.”
The other View hosts, including Jenny McCarthy, Sherri Shepherd, and Whoopi Goldberg, did not fare so well.
“The rest can go f—k themselves," said Sharon.
