Grey's Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy Star Kevin McKidd Sings on Friend’s Fiddle Track — Prepare to Swoon!

If there was an award for most multi-talented chief of surgery on Grey’s Anatomy, it would have to go to Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt). Not only is this TV doctor an actor, director, and editor — nope, he can also sing, too.

This comes as no surprise to true Grey’s fans, though. We first heard him sing on Season 7’s musical episode, “The Song Beneath the Song,” and now, Kevin’s ready to share his singing talents with the rest of the world.

On Thursday, Kevin plugged his pal Paul Anderson’s Scottish fiddle album on Twitter. “Get my mate Paul’s fiddle album here,” Kevin tweeted alongside a link to purchase the album on iTunes. “Proud to contribute to such a talent and good pal!” Just a friend helping out a friend, right?

Not exactly. Not only is Kevin promoting Paul’s music, but he’s also promoting his own!

“FYI, I sing a song he wrote on track number 8,” Kevin added later.

So what’s track number 8? A song called “Bonnie Henry Gordon,” and after listening to the preview, we’ve gotta admit Kevin’s got a killer Scottish accent going on! He could totally play Owen’s mysterious cousin from Scotland who shows up with a crazy rare disease on Grey’s, right?

Check out the preview and let us know what you think!
