Who Was Eliminated on The Voice, November 7, 2013?
After two incredible nights of performances from their top 20, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Cee Lo Green had some difficult decisions to make. Each coach had to cut two of their five contestants, with two being saved by viewer votes. We'll be updating live with the results as they come.
After they performed “Free Ride” by The Edgar Winter Group, Carson announced which two artists from Team Blake were saved from elimination. Team Blake didn’t do so hot in our poll or in iTunes performance, but we correctly predicted that Duvall, Washington singer Austin Jenckes would be safe, but were (pleasantly) surprised to see Cole Vosbury was the second artist saved by viewers. (We predicted he would be up for elimination). Blake used his gut to choose to save “swamp pop” artist Ray Boudreaux. Shelbie Z and Nic Hawk are eliminated.
TEAM CEE LO
Decked out in his signature red and black, Cee Lo's team sang Supertramp's "Give a Little Bit" together before Carson lowered the hammer on them. America saved Caroline Pennell, which was no surprise — she led in iTunes downloads from Tuesday's performances. Also safe from elimination was Jonny Gray. With great difficulty, Cee Lo chose to save Kat Robichaud and send home Amber Nicole and Tamara Chauniece.
Team Adam performed Capital Cities' "Safe and Sound" before learning from Carson who was safe from elimination. James Wolpert and Tessanne Chin led in iTunes downloads pretty handily, so it was no surprise to learn they were in the clear. Left to select one artist from the remaining three, Adam saved Will Champlin, sending home Grey and Preston Pohl.
What did you think of tonight's eliminations? Right on or way misguided?
