The Voice 2013: Best Performance From the Season 5 Live Shows — Nov. 11, 2013 (VIDEO)

On Monday night, the top 12 Voice 2013 contestants battled it out on stage. Each vocalist got the opportunity to perform a song that best displayed their vocal ability and personality. A couple singers failed to blow us away, while others shined.

As usual, Team Christina Aguilera’s 16-year-old singer Jacquie Lee didn’t fail to showcase her amazing ability with the Jack White cover of “Love Is Blindness.” Christina chose the song to prove that her young singer with an “old soul” definitely has the ability to be current and she totally succeeded.

Jacquie’s teammate, college student Matthew Schuler, also shined last night with his rendition of Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah.” The powerhouse vocalist showed audiences a more vulnerable side to his tone and astounded audiences, while Team Adam Levine’s Jamaican rocker Tessanne Chin impressed the coaches with her (once again) beautiful vocals.

However, we had to give last night’s best performance to Team Cee Lo Green’s Kat Robichaud. After being saved by Cee Lo during the live show eliminations, Kat came back with her regular “Katitude” and gave a full-on performance including a stage dive that turned into crowd surfing.

When it comes to Kat, she totally knows how to own a stage and last night, she owned our vote!

Do you agree with our pick? Watch the clip below and sound off in the comments!
