Once Upon a Time Season 3, Episode 7 Burning Questions

We love all of Once Upon a Time’s many, many mysteries, but sometimes it seems like each episode introduces more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to make sense of everything that happened.

Here are 10 burning questions from Season 3, Episode 7: “Dark Hollow.”

1. What does Henry have to do on Skull Rock?

Whenever creepaziods like Pan start talking about “sacrifice,” as Pan does in regards to Henry going to Skull Rock, it’s not a good thing. So what exactly will Henry have to do over there? Will he somehow have to taint his pure heart? Or will Henry or someone close to him lose their life? None of that sounds promising.

2. How did the Darlings end up on Neverland?

John and Michael say they’re the reason why Wendy got captured, but what happened? Did the kids initially go to Neverland to save Neal? Michael and John are a bit older than Wendy but not as old as Neal, so maybe going on trips to our world has aged them, or perhaps they spent time in the UK before joining Wendy in Neverland. Also, we’re wondering how John keeps his bangs in such perfect shape on that island.

3. How will Gold use Pandora’s Box?

We’re a little scared about what’s going to come out of Pandora’s Box, but we presumably don’t have very long to wait to find out. And we’re hoping this box will indeed stop Pan, but we somehow have a feeling Pan won’t be quite that easy to thwart.

4. Why is Eric’s button in Gold’s shop?

We loved seeing Belle and Ariel bond this week, since Belle could use some gal pals. And it was intriguing that Ariel found a button in Gold’s shop that appears to match the kind that Eric wore. Does this button mean that Gold brought Eric to Storybrooke? Or is the button a sign that Eric and Gold have history?

5. Are there more agents working for Pan?

The fact that Storybrooke is protected by a cloaking spell seems to suggest that they’re safe from any more of Pan’s lackeys. But could there be more agents out there who are doing Pan’s bidding? And speaking of Michael and John, why was their car’s license plate from Minnesota? If they thought Storybrooke was in Minnesota, they need to invest in a better GPS.

6. What’s up between Neal and Tink?

It was very cute to see how happy Tink was to reunite with Neal. Does this mean something may happen between them? It seems safe to assume that Emma and Neal will eventually end up rekindling their romance at some point — pretend we didn’t say that, Captain Swan fans — so we’re wondering if a little romance first between Neal and Tink will make Emma realize what she’s missing.

7. How soon will Regina meet up with Robin Hood?

Gold’s pointed remark about Regina being jealous that Gold found love seems to be foreshadowing that Regina will eventually get it on with Robin Hood, right? Regina is definitely due to meet her hunk, so we’re hoping that encounter happens ASAP.

8. What will be Emma’s next trick?

Okay, so it’s nice to know we aren’t the only ones who have trouble working a lighter. But we wish that Hook and Neal’s squabbles hadn’t forced Emma to light the candle on her own. Still, we love that Regina’s assistance helped teach Emma to start the fire and save the day, and we wonder what other magic Emma has up her sleeve. Will she be the one to get David off of Neverland?

9. Who the heck will Emma choose?

Emma made it clear that her focus is on Henry right now instead of Hook or Neal, proving that she’s a stronger person than we would be. And while Neal is being framed as her True Love, her scene with Hook was quite the steamy one. So we really don’t know who she’ll pick, but she better pick someone soon, before the guys start throwing around more than just lighters.

10. Do we sense a little chemistry between Henry and Wendy?

Henry’s been spending all his time with the Lost Boys lately, so we can’t say we blame him for seeming to get all hot and bothered when he happens to find Wendy. We kinda like the idea of Henry getting himself a little girlfriend, although we’re not sure that any guy really wants to date someone who may have had a thing for their dad.
