Scandal Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 7 Synopsis Revealed — “Everything’s Coming Up Mellie”
On Scandal, it’s usually all about Olivia Pope, but in Season 3, Episode 7, it’s all about Mellie. Or, as the title states, “Everything’s Coming Up Mellie.”
In the November 14 episode (airing at 10 p.m. ET on ABC), the First Lady does a hard-hitting news interview in an attempt to recover from the public backlash she’s received, but will it be too little too late?
Either way, she’s a bit of a lone wolf now. Yes, she has Cyrus — and we’ll see how Fitz, Mellie, and Cyrus originally became a team in flashbacks — but she needs more than that to forge her own political career.
On the non-Mellie front, we’ll see Quinn’s bloodlust turning dangerous as Huck tries to push her away — and Cyrus plotting against Sally Langston… again.
Read on for the official synopsis, then sound off below with what you want to see from Mellie. More epic speeches to Olivia (or Fitz, for that matter)? Tell-alls with the press? Running for office herself? The possibilities are endless.
“Mellie is still trying to recover from the public backlash of the last year so she decides to do a hard-hitting news interview. Meanwhile, as Cyrus continues to plot against Sally Langston, we learn how Fitz, Mellie and Cyrus became a team. Back at OPA, Huck continues to push Quinn away, but Quinn’s bloodlust could get her into some dangerous situations.”
