Kandi Burruss’s Play, A Mother’s Love, Is a Success!

Kandi Burruss's new play, A Mother's Love, opened in Atlanta over the weekend, selling out two of its performances! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star proudly took to Instagram to share her gratitude for a successful run.

"I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love & work with all these talented people. Thank you to everyone that has come to the show & supported us!!!! Tonight is sold out but we have one more day for you to catch it!," Kandi wrote next to a postcard announcing the double sellout.

Kandi's Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Porsha Stewart, also took to her Twitter to share her enthusiasm for the production.

"Tonight's show "A Mothers Love" was amazing!! To God be the Glory!! You don't want to miss this awesome show!," Porsha gushed.

A Mother's Love marks Porsha stage debut. She plays "Jada" and has a singing solo.

Porsha added a photo to Instagram of herself in full costume, writing, "Allow me to introduce you to Jada!! Come see her in "A Mother's Love" #musical." She also mentioned how much she loved her pink-hued makeup.

Kandi's friends did their part to support her new project.

Phaedra Parks promoted Kandi's show, tweeting, "If you haven't seen #AMotherslove by @Kandi & @todd167 it's a MUST SEE!!!! Check it out tonight or tomorrow at the Rialto Theatre."

Meanwhile, new mom Rasheeda got a night off from baby duty to hit the musical in style.

"Just finished catching my girl @kandiburruss stage play "A Mother's Love" #greatjob!!," she wrote on Instagram, next to a photo of herself decked out in sky-high stilettos and a sexy black leather jacket.
