Things just keep getting better for Catfish host Nev Schulman. Not only has Catfish been renewed for Season 3, but Nev just scored his first book deal, according to a new report from Deadline.
As the host of MTV's hit show, Nev travels the country with his friend Max Joseph exploring the complicated — and often disappointing — world of online romance. Nev's upcoming book, titled In Real Life, will "convey lessons he learned personally" about social media, and how to avoid ever getting catfished, aka duped into phony cyber love.
It all started a few years ago when Nev's brother Ariel documented Nev's own experiences falling in love over the internet in the movie Catfish, which made its debut at Sundance in 2010. After the massive success of the film, fans started reaching out to Nev directly for advice about their online relationships, and it wasn't long before Nev turned his newfound cyber celebrity into a hit docu-series.
In Real Life is set for release in the fall of 2014. Will you read it? Tell us below.
