Great news, The Real fans! After what seemed like waiting for forever, the daytime talk show featuring Loni Love, Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon has been given a nationwide rollout for Fall 2014 with Fox TV stations as its launching pad! But that’s not all…
Turns out that show, which has received a two-year deal, will also get a second window on BET (just like the The Wendy Williams Show) for optimal viewing!
The Real made its debut during the summer with a four-week test run that started a bit slow but ultimately grew a dedicated fanbase. According to Deadline, the show have been favorable to a demo of women 24-54 as well as young women 18-34 since May 2013.
“The Real brought viewers a unique combination of elements that were missing from daytime, a real, multi-cultural conversation about issues that women of all ages are talking about,” said Frank Cicha, SVP Programming at Fox TV Stations, “Five hosts for the price of one — score! Seriously, we’re all looking for younger adults and this program delivered big time.”
The Real will debut on 18 Fox-owned stations including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia. We can’t wait to see these ladies return behind the table for daytime talk show fun!
