Grey’s Anatomy: Jesse Williams Shares a New Cristina Catchphrase — We Suggest More!
We hate to say it, but we are nearing the end of Sandra Oh’s time with us as Cristina Yang on Grey’s Anatomy. With only 12 episodes left of Season 10, we have to soak up every last bit of Yang’s genius before it’s gone forever… and we make no promises we won’t cry at her eventual sendoff. Or every time we think about it, like right now.
But Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) has a great idea about how Cristina can make a lasting impression on fans before she dons her scrubs for the last time: a catchphrase.
“#OnSet discussing new catchphrases for @IamSandraOh,” Jesse tweeted Monday. “Front runner so far is ‘OH Reeaally? *Shoulder Shrug Freeze Frame’. What say you?”
Here’s what we’ve come up with:
“You can’t be a good mom and a good surgeon.” How many times have we heard that one recently?
“I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to win America’s Next Top Model!” or, you know, a Harper Avery award. Either way.
Blank stare. You know, after someone says something she thinks is stupid. Wait, that’s probably every episode. Never mind!
Although, come to think of it, Cristina doesn’t need a catchphrase. Her mad surgeon skills totally speak for her.
