Ravenswood Winter Premiere Spoilers: 3 Things to Know About the Curse!

There’s so much we don’t know about The Curse that has sentenced our five favorite Ravenswood teenagers to untimely deaths but that’s set to change in the show’s winter premiere (Season 1, Episode 6: “Revival”). Apparently, we’ll be getting some much-anticipated clues about the infamous curse, and E! Online has a sneak peek at some of the craziest details…

The news outlet is teasing three curse-related reveals:

  1. Original Caleb and Original Miranda were totally there when the cursing went down aka when the town decided to sacrifice some teens for the lives of its soldiers. Unfortunately spoiler! the Originals couldn’t do anything to stop it.

  2. The ceremony in question? “Both extremely creepy and chilling.” Sounds about right for this town.

  3. Finally, we learn that not every Ravenswood resident was gung-ho about the curse being cast. In fact, there were “two very important (and very familiar!) descendants [who] were instrumental in creating the fatal arrangement.” Yikes!

Sounds like we’ll be getting a crazy flashback in the winter premiere! Good, because we feel like we’ve been flying blind for a while with this spirit-heavy supernatural drama. Show’s got some ‘splaining to do. We’re not surprised that Original Miranda and Original Caleb were there at the onset how many people could have lived in this small Pennsylvania town in 1918? -- but we’re intrigued by the news of some enforcement by familiar descendants. Might this be related to whatever shenanigans Raymond Collins and Mrs. Grunwald have been up to? There two engage in an awful lot of hair-snipping and vague-conversationing. We’re officially suspicious…

Do you think Uncle Ray and Mrs. G. are involved with The Curse? And are you as excited for this potential flashback as we are? Sound off in the comments below!

Tune in to watch how it plays out on January 7, 2014, right after the Pretty Little Liars winter premiere at 8 p.m. ET!
