Stars will hit theaters, 20th Century Fox has released the first poster for the movie, which shows Shailene Woodley as Hazel Grace smiling as she nuzzles Ansel Elgort as Augustus.

The John Green novel, for those of you unfamiliar, tracks the relationship that blooms between those two teens after they meet in a cancer patient support group.

The book became The New York Time's #1 bestseller and was named best ficton book of 2012 by both TIME and Entertainment Weekly. Addtionally, EW readers named it the second-best YA book of all time — out of a bracket of 64 stories — right behind the Harry Potter series.

BuzzFeed has rounded up a selection Twitter reactions from TFOS fans: "My heart cannot handle this poster right now." "I'm basically useless after this." "I'M NOT READY FOR THIS FEELS. EXCUSE ME WHILE I CRY BLOOD."

The tagline — "One Sick Love Story" — is a clever double entendre, but fans seem to be revolting. "THAT IS NOT OKAY. I AM NOT OKAY," wrote one. "[It] is a joke, right? A terrible, offensive joke?" wrote another. "Probably my least favourite tagline to exist," added someone else.

People, we get it. It's insensitive to actual cancer patients, and the book aptly stresses that Hazel and Augustus are so much more than their cancer. Then again, emotions aside, we do have a love story about two cancer patients here. And, coupled with the touching image, it's a pretty succinct way to sum up the tale.

In any case, the movie — directed by Stuck in Love's Josh Boone and written by Shailene's The Spectacular Now writers, Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber — comes out on June 6.
