With Game of Thrones Season 3 a distant memory, it’s now time to turn our attention to what may lie ahead in Season 4. Since GoT is based on the book series A Song of Ice and Fire (ASOIAF), we can make some good guesses about how the story will play out next season, at least in broad strokes. Here are our predictions about what's coming up for Tyrion’s PIC, Bronn, based on the latter half of A Storm of Swords and beyond.

Disclaimer: Of course, the show may cut plot elements or even completely alter Bronn's story (they already have to some degree). These are spoilers based on the books only.
Thank you for being a friend. Tyrion and Bronn have had one of the best friendships on GoT thus far, but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. During Tyrion’s trial for the murder of Joffrey, Tyrion sees all of his friends and allies turn against him — including Bronn. While Bronn doesn’t testify against Tyrion like some other people (cough, Shae, cough), he basically leaves Tyrion to fend for himself against the Mountain. We can’t really blame Bronn, since the Mountain is really scary, but the fact is that Cersei paid off Bronn to make sure he didn’t help Tyrion, furthering Bronn’s reputation as an amoral sellsword.
Love and tradition of the grand design. Another part of Cersei’s package to Bronn in exchange for him not aiding Tyrion is an arranged marriage to Lollys Stokeworth, a dimwitted noble who is already pregnant by someone else. While it doesn’t seem like a great match to us, Bronn is lowborn, so the marriage makes him a Lord, granting him some power and riches. Lollys hasn’t been in the show so far and she’s in the books very early on, so it’s possible that Bronn could marry someone else, or this plot point could be omitted entirely.
Show me that smile again. After Bronn informs Tyrion of his nuptials, he pretty much disappears. He’s mentioned a few times, but doesn’t appear again on the page. The mentions of him typically have to do with him causing some kind of headache for Cersei, including, most notably, naming Lollys’s son “Tyrion.” We’re hoping that the show will invent some ways to keep Bronn around, though, and it seems like they have with actor Jerome Flynn mentioning a big fight scene next year that looks to be an invention of the show. Whatever they come up with, we can’t wait to see it. More Bronn!
