The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries Star Kat Graham Got a New Puppy Named Issa Shalom! (PHOTO)

Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett) sure does have an amazing fiance! What did future husband Cottrell Guidry give the Vampire Diaries star for Christmas? We’ll give you a hint: it’s soft and snuggly and Ian Somerhalder probably wants to hug it.

Cottrell gifted Kat with a new puppy! And Kat already has its name picked out: “Thank you @cottrellguidry for the new puppy Issa Shalom,” Kat captioned the Instagram shot of the dog in her arms. We want one too!

We’re guessing this dog is only going to make the already adorable shots of Cottrell and Kat together even cuter. Check out this pic of the happy couple picking out a Christmas tree together. Now, picture Issa Shalom in the shot. Yeah, this puppy might just be responsible for a future sweetness overload. You have been warned, Internet.

Cottrell and Kat have been engaged since October 2012, and Kat has been hard at work planning her dream wedding ever since. Coincidentally, co-star and friend Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes) just happens to be in the midst of her own engagement (to The Fray guitarist Joe King), which means the TVDers can share tips with one another. “She's helping me, I'm helping her,” Kat told Wetpaint. “Obviously it's our first marriage. [Laughs] I never thought I would have a friend engaged at the same time as me. So it's been very spectacular to have this experience with her, and be able to share it with her. So yeah, we're very close.”

No word yet on if Issa Shalom will be acting as canine ring bearer on the big day, but we’re pulling for it. Better get training, Issa!
