Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande Wasn’t Talking About Nathan Sykes in Break-Up Confession (VIDEO)

It’s been an emotional rollercoaster of a week for supporters of the Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes romance. Ariana sent legions of stans into a panic last Thursday when she allegedly hinted that the pop power couple was kaput. But further details have since emerged, and it seems that it was all a misunderstanding. Hooray!

Until recently, the “Right There” singer’s interview with Florida's 99.3 FLZ radio had been removed from the site, blocking us from seeing exactly how the conversation about Nathan went down. All we knew was that Ari had been asked about her BF, and that she’d responded: "You're a little behind … we're really good friends."

Now that the video has re-emerged, we hear the host ask Ariana about a sloth that she rented for her boyfriend’s birthday. Now, true fans of the pint-sized diva will remember that the sloth in question was actually for her ex Jai Brooks on his birthday last spring, not her current love. This is where Ari’s answer about “you’re a little behind” actually comes in. It all makes so much sense now!

That being said, we’re a little surprised that Arianathan have remained so tightlipped about the status of their relationship while all of these rumors have been swirling. If they’re still going strong, shouldn’t they have outright let us know? Neither star has been one to shy away from speaking out on social media before. While we want to remain positive, we’re not sure we’re ready to let our guards down until we get confirmation from the source.

Do you think Ariana and Nathan are still together? Share your predictions in the comments below.
