Once Upon a Time Season 3 Spoilers: Behind-the-Scene Photo Reveals the Characters Are Back In…

The Once Upon a Time cast and crew are back to filming, and you know what that means: time for some behind-the-scenes set photos to ponder! Today there are two new pics that leave us wondering exactly how long the characters will really be gone from Storybrooke.

Josh Dallas (Charming) tweeted the pic above, writing, "Happy new year everyone! It's an early day back filming EP 315 of." The pic shows what looks like Emma and Regina, as well as Granny, in Storybrooke. Huh? You may wonder. Isn't Storybrooke gone, and aren't most of the characters back in the Enchanted Forest?

Yeah, that's what we thought. In fact, at first we wondered if this was an old set picture, but Josh also wrote, "this pic is from Ep 312!" which, if accurate, would mean it's from the winter premiere. Hmmm... maybe a flashback?

While Josh's pic may be a bit of a mystery, one thing is for sure: Jennifer Morrison (Emma) was on set with Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow) today.

The star tweeted the pic to the right of Ginnifer and Josh looking sleepy, writing, "Nothing like a 3:30am wake up for a 4:30 am call time first day back. #sohappytoseemom&dad"

Impressive start time aside, we wonder what this means for the plot. While it's possible Jennifer was there for a different scene than Josh and Ginnifer, our guess is that the three are reunited on screen by Episode 15; this is supported by the fact that Ginnifer appears to have her short Mary Margaret hair (though, she could still be waiting for the Snow wig).

Again, this could be a flashback to before Storybrooke was wiped off the map. Or is it a clue that Emma's separation from her 'rents doesn't last that long?

Sound off with your theories about these pics in the comments below!
