50 Cent Fires Back at Reports That He Hasn’t Seen Son Marquise in Two Years
There’s nothing worse than a bad case of baby mama drama, and 50 Cent seems to be knee-deep in controversy with Shaniqua Tompkins, mother to Fiddy’s first son, Marquise. According to TMZ, Shaniqua says 50, aka Curtis Jackson, hasn’t seen his son in over two years and that Marquise is feeling rejected.
Shaniqua tells the site that 50 hasn’t been around his 17-year-old son since May 2012 and that Marquise feels like he’s been replaced by his dad’s new baby, son Sire Jackson.
TMZ even goes as far as to claim that the rapper and Marquise haven’t even spoken since January 2013 when the two reportedly had a falling out over text messages. Here’s the sitch: Apparently 50 showed up to spend some quality time with Marquise, but his son refused to answer the door. That’s when 50 allegedly let the brutal texts fly, saying “F—k you stop texting me” and the equally-painful “I don’t have a son anymore.” Yikes!
But don’t take Shaniqua and Marquise’s word for it, 50 Cent’s rep is speaking out against these accusations. "50 is saddened by the attention-seeking tactics of his son's mother,” his rep says. “He remains a proud and supportive father and feels blessed to have two sons."
On top of that, another source tells TMZ that Shaniqua hasn’t worked since 2002 and that she’s using this as a ploy to make a quick buck.
