Pretty Little Liars

Who Is “A”? Our Top 3 Suspects From Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Winter Premiere

So, you’re still dying to know who is the Big “A” on Pretty Little Liars. Don’t worry — we’ve got our crack team of sleuths on the case, analyzing every clue for your mystery-solving pleasure.

Who is “A”? Here are some hints from Season 4, Episode 14: “Who’s in the Box?,” that may help us solve this thing for good!

3. Ezra Fitz

Why he might be Big “A”: Ezra keeps seeming suspicious, especially with that basement door in his secret cabin that may or may not lead to A’s lair. We’re also worried that he gave the cabin key to Aria in order to set her up for something and his threatening conversation with Mona suggests that he’s definitely up to no good. Where did the old, sweet Ezra go?

Why he might be Big “A”: Whenever this show tells us that someone is evil, they’re definitely not evil. So at this point, Ezra appears to be too obvious a choice. Still, he certainly appears to have something up his (cardigan) sleeve.

2. Lucas Gottesman

Why he might be Big “A”: Lucas has spent time in cabins before - as he was lurking around in the Hastings’ cabin’s attic so we’re thinking he might have a key to Ezra’s cabin. And the person who opens the basement door at the end of the episode wears Converse, which Lucas wears. Maybe he’s Ezra “friend” who owns the cabin? Plus, that painting of a train in the cabin suggests Lucas is involved, since Lucas was on the Ghost Train.

Why he might be Big “A”: Okay, so we haven’t seen Lucas on the show in quite a while. And when we’ve last seen Lucas, he claimed he was being blackmailed, which would suggest that he wasn’t in control of the “A” team. But we still can’t tell if we trust him.

Why she might be Big “A”: We’re loving the addition of the mysterious and apparently bitchy Sara - who disappeared from Cortland right when Ali vanished and her pals. Could Sara be the Black Widow? Plus, it’s quite the coincidence that Sara is from Cortland, considering that “Courtney” is the name of Ali’s twin in the books. Hmmm.

Why she might not be Big “A”: Well, there are about a million reasons, including the fact that she’s being added to the show rather late in the game. And we don’t even know if she’s ever met Ali. But while there might be more obvious Big “A” suspects at this point like CeCe, Ali, or Melissa we just don’t think the show would introduce Sara for no reason.

Who do you think "A" is? Sound off in the comments!
