Zoe Saldana Starring in TV Remake of Rosemary’s Baby — Will You Watch?
And you thought your kids were hard to handle. Zoe Saldana has just signed on to star in a remake of Rosemary's Baby, featuring the spawn of the devil. We're guessing the babysitter charges extra for this particular bundle of joy.
This version will be a four-hour miniseries version of the classic 1967 novel which was then turned into a 1968 psychological thriller film starring Mia Farrow and directed by Roman Polanski. Zoe will play the role of Rosemary.
"Zoe has proven that she is one of our most gifted actresses, and we think she has the perfect combination of spirit and gravitas to take on the title role from Ira Levin’s infamous novel," says the president of NBC miniseries. "With Zoe leading the cast, under the direction of Agnieszka Holland, this reimagined event mini-series is off to a great start."
As you may recall, the story centers on a woman and her husband who move into a spooky apartment in Paris. She gets pregnant and begins to realize that she's carrying the devil's offspring. Major bummer.
Zoe is best known for her roles in films like Avatar and Star Trek. She secretly married Italian artist Marco Perego last year.
