Shirtless wonder Juan Pablo Galavis will be k-i-s-s-i-n-g the first of his 18 remaining girlfriends this coming week on The Bachelor.
So that means Season 18, Episode 2’s ratings will have to dip by at least one viewer: Camila Galavis. Juan Papa’s not-quite five-year-old daughter got to watch the premiere, but now she’ll have to find something better to do on Monday nights (Sleep, maybe? It is a school night…) because Camila is not allowed to watch her dad lock lips with other ladies.
Juan Pablo told Extra’s Mario Lopez that this isn’t just a Bachelor policy. He’s very protective of Camila, his daughter with actress Carla Rodriguez.
"I treat her very carefully because I want to be a good example for her,” the Venezuelan stud told Extra of Camila. “I had a girlfriend after I broke up with her mom and that girlfriend [to] Camila, you know, is ‘Daddy's friend.’ We never kissed, we never [had] sleepovers, never do anything, hold hands, in front of Camila — because I wanted to make sure she knows the girlfriend I bring home, whenever, is The One. I want to make sure I set a good example for her."
You could argue dating 27 women on television isn’t the best example — she may not watch the show now, but she’ll hear about it from her friends for years to come — but good for Juan Pabs for taking steps to protect Camila. He even said in the promo that he’d rather “end up with nobody” than have his daughter not be proud of her dad.
Do you think Juan Pablo will bring The One home from Season 18, or will his Bachelor choice just be “Daddy’s friend” too?
